We may, as individuals, be the owners of the rural land. However, we are only custodians of the rural amenity. This amenity belongs to the people of Sydney and future generations.

• Adherence to Environmentally Sustainable Development (ESD) principles for all developments.
• The preservation of the rural, agricultural and public lands in the Galston and adjacent rural areas of Sydney.
• Maintain and improve the residential and rural amenity of Hornsby’s rural areas.
• The remediation and protection of the Berowra Creek catchment.
• The preservation of Hornsby Council’s natural and man-made heritage.
